John Coyne

John Coyne for U.S. Senate 2026

CANDIDATE JOHN COYNE
UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA ALUMNI
CLASS OF 1972

Dear Friends and Fellow Georgians:

It is with great pleasure to announce to all of you that I have committed myself to run for U.S. Senator against Jon Ossoff.  The year 2026 will be a pivotal year for our country by electing a new group of candidates who are not beholden to the special interest groups ingrained in partisan politics but clearly want for all the people they represent to have a better life for them and their families in years to come.

My commitment is to move this country forward in a positive direction and work with anyone in Washington who shares the same desire.  I will bring a fresh look to the important issues of healthcare, education reform, improving and strengthening social security, implementing stronger laws of immigration by protecting America’s jobs, and considering our national security interests first at all times.  I will follow President Trump’s vision of America First.

With your help and support, I will generate results that can be shared by all Americans and the people of Georgia.  Your contribution to these efforts would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

John F. Coyne III
Your Next U.S. Senator from the State of Georgia

Important Numbers to Remember as You Vote in the Upcoming Election

Georgia’s population has exceeded 12 million people.

1.6 million of these Georgians work for the minimum wage or moderately higher, although less than $12.00 per hour; many are part-time employees.

1.5 million Georgians receive food stamps to help them feed their families.  Presently, there are 87 million individual people on Medicaid in the United States.

1.3 million Georgians lost or had to secure another job during the financial collapse that started in 2008 and have fought the burden of ever-changing technology, requiring retraining and the upward movement of inflation for almost twenty years.

700,000 Georgia Veterans that need proper healthcare services, along with post-service transition assistance, although it is getting better.  Vets keep moving to Georgia for better opportunities.

No actual reports can tell us exactly how many of these individuals have been on a short-term or long-term waiting list for over ten years, maybe 20 years.

654,000 homeowners were foreclosed on by the unscrupulous banks from 2008 to 2012 after these banks received huge buyouts from you, the taxpayer, in federal assistance.  The large drop in interest rates during the first Trump administration brought back homeowners, only to be hammered by the Biden administration's inflation and overspending of government income in taxes and interest on the debt.

75,000 Developmentally Disabled Individuals (DDI) are living with a parent, or parents, over the age of 60 in Georgia with limited to no services.  The only gains seen are county and state facilities for training centers that opened to continue after the school bus stopped coming at age 21.  The 2026 survey for the legislation of Georgia said that the total number for all DDI is 500,000.

Georgians are eligible for Medicaid insurance, although the State of Georgia’s governor and legislature refused to expand Medicaid, knowing the federal government would have to cover 100% of the cost for three years, maybe longer, and the expansion would add 100,000 new good-paying professional jobs.  The open borders of the Biden administration have made healthcare for all parts of coverage.  We have it, and that is one reason they come to America.

This list is directed at two areas of thought—greed versus need.
This is why I am asking for your support.
